This spring, KFC opened two fast-casual Sanders Grill by KFC restaurants in Moscow - in the City and on Arbat.
Sanders Grill restaurants specialize in grilled, unbreaded chicken. The menu is extensive: burgers, chicken steaks, wings, and legs, more than 50 items in total, and they also offer original sauces - from honey BBQ to Sriracha.
“We know everything about chicken - over the years we have come up with hundreds of different flavor combinations and formats for chicken dishes. For a fast-casual restaurant, we wanted to create something especially bright and tasty - and what could be better than soft, juicy, flavorful grilled chicken?” — comments the head of the department for development of new products Yum! Brands (KFC) Igor Linichuk.
Well, “Complex-Bar” knows everything about dishes and equipment, so it couldn’t have happened without our participation: we helped equip the kitchen. We are proud to help restaurateurs and restaurant brands open interesting and large projects.
What is fast casual
The concept of “fast casual” (from the English words fast - fast and casual - everyday) was proposed by the American sociologist and expert on the restaurant market Paul Barron back in the 1990s: he noticed that consumer tastes were shifting towards not only fast, but also healthy eating. Thus, fast casual combines elements of popular and familiar fast food all over the world and a more measured format of “casual dining”, which implies everyday inexpensive lunches in a restaurant in the middle of the working day.
Among the main features of the fast-casual concept are only fresh products of the highest quality, reusable dishes in the hall, interiors in soothing colors using natural materials.
