A pastry bag is one of the main tools in the work of a pastry chef. In order to evenly fill pastry molds with dough or place it neatly on a baking sheet, pastry bags are used to decorate a cake or pastry.

There are both disposable and reusable pastry bags . Disposable ones are usually made from food-grade polyethylene, reusable ones are made from cotton fabric, polyester, nylon. As a rule, disposable bags are cheaper and sell from ten pieces.

The reusable pastry bag is made of durable material, which allows it to be used frequently when making sweets. The weakest point in such a bag may be the connecting seam.
